Survey Says!...
The Fairfax County Council of PTAs is conducting a survey to gather more data about how a change in school start times will affect students and their families. Please take a few minutes to take the
survey which would affect everyone, not just the current high school students.
Oak Hill Keep-in-Touch (KIT) to change...
Changes are being made to the KIT system. The current system is being phased out on June 30th, and everyone will have to re-register. Please check back for more information, as it is available.

School Bus Task Force Recommends Change in School Start Times
A Fairfax County community transportation task force has recommended that the Fairfax County School Board consider reshuffling its school opening-bell times to give high school students more time to sleep in the mornings. Check out the

Oak Hill boundary to remain at Chantilly HS!
The School Board voted 10 - 2 for the Scenario 1 West County HS boundary (staff recommendation). This means
that Oak Hill area students will continue to attend Chantilly High School. You can view the
vote information where you will also find a link to the 2008-2009 Program/Attendance Area Adjustments
or view the proposals on the
FCPS Boundary Studies Options Page.
Oak Hill Recognized for Educational Excellence by Gov. Kaine
Governor Timothy M. Kaine announced that 89 Virginia public schools have met the rigorous criteria required to earn the Governor's Award for Educational Excellence. The award is the highest honor under a new incentive program for schools and school divisions created by the Board of Education to advance Governor Kaine's "competence to excellence" agenda.
